Hello, my name is Victoria Donates. I’m a mediator and the founder of Enero 1, a company devoted to helping people reduce conflict in their lives while building data that supports more effective conflict-resolution tools. I guide conversations with clarity and calm, creating a space where people can be heard, understood, and supported as they work toward peace.
My Story
My path into mediation began with a simple realization: most conflicts aren’t about who’s right, but about what’s misunderstood. Over the years, I watched how confusion, stress, and miscommunication can fracture relationships, and I became determined to learn how to guide people through those difficult moments. I started studying conflict, communication, and human behavior, and I realized how powerful a calm, steady presence can be in even the most tense situations. Mediation became the natural path—a place where clarity, structure, and fairness actually change outcomes. As I worked with individuals and families, I saw the same pattern again and again: once people feel heard and understood, resolution becomes possible. That experience pushed me to expand my vision beyond one room or one conversation at a time. I founded Enero 1 to combine human-centered mediation with the potential of data to improve how people and technology understand conflict. My goal is to teach people how to communicate more clearly while also generating the insights needed to build better conflict-resolution tools. I want mediation to feel accessible, calm, and approachable—not intimidating or complicated. This work is my way of helping people move toward peace with more confidence, clarity, and stability in their lives.
